We retired and decided to move to North Carolina to spend our Golden Years out of the hustle and bustle of the city. We found the ideal spot here in Green River Highlands amid the quiet privacy of a gated community and all the Flora and Fauna available in the area. We have never been sorry we came here and about a year ago we decided to build a guest house nestled in the woods for our children to stay and for a vacation rental to supplement our retirement income. The Guest cabin was finished just in time for the Christmas 08 holidays and has been rented to guest or occupied by our family since.
We now need to downsize our living situation because of our wish to travel more to see our kids and grand kids. We would like to remain here in this subdivision but in a smaller single level home with less land and landscape and no rental property so we can leave on extended trips from time to time. We would also consider a lot or smaller home elsewhere as partial trade if you are looking to move up.
